White Island

We got the boat from Whakatane to the amazing active volcano that is White Island, in the Bay of Plenty. On the way the Dolphins played with our boat, so close it was wonderful.

On the island we had to wear hard hats and a gas mask as the sulphuric fumes were so bad everybody kept coughing and spluttering.

The colours were acid yellow mainly.
