Flash visit to Basel

Serious train disruptions this afternoon between Bern and Zürich, the most frequented segment of our national rail system. Instead of a direct journey in the Intercity I had to take a detour via Basel, where we were asked to hurry up and board the ICE towards Zürich. So here a quick iPhone shot from that moment.

Instead of 1 train I had to take 5 different trains to get home, took me approx. 1.5 hours longer than expected. Nice problems, compared with real issues. But still happy that the weather was fine enough to go out for a rowing session on the lake, before the weather is going to turn rainy and cold again for the weekend :-(
