Marwick (Day 345)

What a fabulous day!
We have friends staying, and for this morning's wander up the hill my beautiful wife and I were accompanied by Ei who made an inspection of the inside of the chambered cairn on the hill.
We left the dogs with my folks, and headed to Kirkwall where we met Alfie on his yacht and had a sail around outside Kirkwall. The sailing was lovely, and we will have to do a lot more of it. Afterwards we wandered round Kirkwall, and had a beer before heading along the west coast and stopping for a puffin spotting expedition on the Brough of Birsay. Unfortunately we didn't see any puffins, but the view of Marwick was excellent.
