Brushed up (Two weeks and one day)

I wandered up the hill with the woofers this morning in a fairly stiff breeze. It always seems to make them that bit more excitable when they can charge around in the wind. Rabbits and pheasants were chased, nothing was captured. A German tourist received close inspection and a gruff woof.
Back home and I loaded tools and bits into the van to head off to fit a new loo. It took a little longer than I had anticipated, and by the time I came home the nearly wife had been home and taken the dogs for the afternoon walk. Once she returned, we set about tidying the house in preparation for the arrival of some friends from south. The next two days will see me and Kayte being tour guides. Something we both really enjoy.
Hopefully the parts I need for our boiler installation will arrive tomorrow...
