Diary of an Edinburgher

Archie's trauma

The Kiwis departed this morning to wend their way south with their special Kiwi voiced sat nav, which comes out with Kiwi expressions every now and again. They'll be back in a few weeks to revisit favourite parts of Scotland (Murray is very proud of his Scottish ancestry).

We went up the Hill and Archie had a great run around. We met a dog walker with six dogs, all shapes and sizes. One very big dog took rather a shine to Archie, and, er, tried to mount him. Archie kept coming and standing with his rear end pressed up against JR's legs. Poor little innocent chap.

However, once they'd gone, he had such a fantastic run up and down, the reward being liver muffin. That sure makes him run!

At present we're rewatching last night's Line of Duty, because JR kept dozing off at crucial parts.

Lots of leftovers for tea tonight. Yum yum.
