Rocade

Last of the French antipodes for now, today we have Paris (top) and Bordeaux (bottom) as we travel south.

A remarkable uneventful, straightforward but perfectly pleasant TGV trip. And then an hour's trip north in the car to our house for the next week. All seems great. Just need the weather to pick up and that water in the unheated outdoor pool to nudge up a degree or two. Still went in and splashed around with the girls, mind but 'warm' is not a word that readily springs to mind.

Music - the village shop was closed on arrival, and by the time we'd unpacked and got sorted out and decided what to do the shop in the next village was closed too. But the little bar on the square was open and they happily provided us with sustenance. They also had the TV on, some bike race or other......
