Village life

One morning whilst in Rwanda, I went with some sisters to visit the poor and elderly in local villages around Kibungo. It was amazing to drive through these rural communities and to have the opportunity to visit the people who were delighted to welcome us into their homes. This photo shows a typical scene - people cycling carrying water, banana plantations, everyone going about their daily jobs. Such a vibrant place.
