Mother and baby

This photo was taken in Akagera National Park, Rwanda. We were lucky enough to find some hippos and it was only when this mother got up out of the water that we realised she had a young hippo with her. They were not too keen to hang around for photos but seemed very calm as they sauntered off into the grass.
