I love the family culture that emerges as the sun goes down here in China. Parks, walking paths, open squares, (and fountains) fill with families, kids, aunts, uncles, babies in strollers, children getting a piggyback ride, young couples, white-headed couples with canes in hand, everyone comes out to enjoy a reprieve from the sun and some fresh air.

Backblip:
Today last year was my birthday, so I guess that means today this year is my birthday too. Last year we celebrated by making a 25 Layer Red Velvet Cake. This year is a nice walk in the park and fun times with friends. :)
