Conquering the North Face
I was out on building visits this morning.
My travels took me to Batley Library and Art Gallery where I had cause to climb up the ladders and trap doors of the clock tower. It was not an easy climb and, stupidly, I was right next to the huge bell when the clock struck 10:30 a.m.
The blip is of the inside of the clock face which looks north towards Leeds.
Here is also a view of the tower from ground level.
Batley is also the home of Fox's Biscuits and I took a few minutes out of work to buy a sackload of chocolate some biscuits from the factory shop.
