Wild and Wet Land
I must be a glutton for punishment as I made yet another trip to the Dark Side today. Today it was a visit to the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust Reserve at Martin Mere near Ormskirk, West Lancashire.
The main blip is a shot of a Common Crane. They became extinct in the UK about 400 years ago and the WWT are working on a project to reintroduce the the bird as a British breeding species.
My extras include some little duckings which need to keep well hidden from the birds of prey circling overhead (Marsh Harrier I think?).
