The First Orchids are Out

...... despite the rain. These are Burnt Orchids which I spotted for the first time last year. There are many Early Puple Orchids and a few Man Orchids (see extras) in the field behind our house. I should have taken something to kneel on, my trousers are now in the wash.

Thanks for the wonderful response to yesterday's tulip. Wet flowers seem to be a feature of my journal at the moment. Hoping for bigger vistas tomorrow, the forecast is good and the snowline is down to about a 1000m again.
