Getting together

This afternoon J hosted a tea party for all the folk who had helped her while she was recovering from her broken ankle.  More than a dozen of us and three dogs was a bit of a squash in the house, so the dogs, Ollie, Scratch and Molly, escaped to the peace and quiet of the garden!  

Lots of lovely home baked cakes, including a special birthday cake for me - rhubarb and almond - and delicious fresh mint tea.  It was a super afternoon, great to see everyone together, relaxed and enjoying themselves.  And we got the remains of the cake to take home!
