Winter Dog

As always, Piper ran out the door first thing this morning and laid in the (very wet) snow on the deck.  As you can see, it must be very comfortable for her.  When I poked her with the snow shovel she got up and she was soaked!  So I sent her inside to be dried while I finished the job.  I'm glad there were only about 2 inches because it was REALLY heavy.  Now I know it would have melted but I was afraid it would accumulate more and be even heavier tomorrow!  Still some precip in the forecast for tomorrow but it will warmer so probably just rain.  By Thursday it's supposed to be 80 F (27 C).  :-)
