Halifax III "LV907"

To the Yorkshire Air Museum this morning. This is the "personalisation" on the huge Halifax bomber they have there. It had a crew of 7, was powered by 4 Briston Hercules XV1 radial engines and had 9 .303 inch machine guns and 13000lbs bombs. It was the 1st plane to drop bombs on Germany in March 1941.
