Wilting

The day off on Tuesday to accommodate the RNA's business meant I worked today.
Having curtailed last nights evening out I was 'bright eyed & bushy tailed' ready for the day.
The day seemed to pass quite quickly, plenty done but plenty more to do.
Home to a roaring fire, the boilers still broken, Monday is the latest day for it to be fixed, so cold water bird baths for the next 48 hours.
Joshua is away walking Coast 2 Coast, Padstow to Mevagissey, over nighting at the Eden Project. The weather promises to be good for him but 36 odd miles is a long way.
The flowers are fading fast, standing on the fireplace with the fire lit for longer than usual they are not lasting as long as usual.
