Where the bee sucks

After a lot of gadding about in the past week I had a day at home catching up with washing, tidying etc. I took a bit of time out to watch a Siskin (a regular visitor at the moment) splitting his time between the sunflower seed feeder and the blossom on the Damson tree overlooking our garden, now in glorious bloom. I'm not sure whether it was nectar or pollen it was after, but it was clearly enjoying the dietary supplement.
