Fennel

As I struggled with finishing the last of the newspaper contributions for the election (which are many and various in Argyll and Bute as we have lots of local newspapers and newsletters across the area) Cathleen was planting out herbs in a new planter she has made out of a wooden pallet.   This is fennel, and it is nice to have something enterprising and non electoral going on in the environs today , even if I am not doing it.
