Watch the Birdie!

The ducks no longer frequent our feeding station. I hope that means they are finally facing their parental responsibilities and raising little ducklings.

So this time I left the stale bread out anyway, for the other birds. This bird (not sure what model) is obviously feeding its family in a nest in the foliage that borders the brook, as it kept stuffing its beak with bread and flying back to the nest - pause - then returning for more.

Birdies are just like people - they keep cramming more bread into their beak even though that forces earlier pieces to fall out; then they finally give up and fly off (the descendants of dinosaurs not the descendants of apes).
