Connections!

Today we've seen Mom make miraculous progress, she's astounding the doctors with how much she's fighting this disease & how much of her self she's regaining! She pulled her own feeding tube today, so they allowed her to keep it out & she managed to sip water!! AMAZING!!! She continued being able to smile AND this afternoon she began saying a few words!! We had no clue when she'd be able to speak, what language it would be in, if it would be understandable...but slowly & painstakingly she said a word or 2! WE ARE ALL AMAZED! She has a long way to go, but she's coming back to us and there are aspects of her character shining through...it's amazing to see!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Miraculous progress.
2) Bulliblips being with us in the worst of times.
3) A glass of wine at amandoAlentejo's tonight.
