Not a flower blip....

...finally! Managed to snap something OTHER than a quick flower!
A long day in hospital, but the major news is that Mom gave us an attempt at a lopsided smile when Han & I arrived!! We kept saying to the nurse, 'that was a smile, wasn't it?! That DEFINITELY was a smile!' Encouraging! They also said that she's improved since yesterday, but that the journey will be a very long one with no idea what the end outcome will be like, what Mom will be like... But we'll continue to hope & pray for our Mom to come back to us. She still can't speak, but we keep talking to her...been telling her about Mishkid having baby Allegra & other bits of news...she's in & out of it, but I feel more hopeful than yesterday.
This blip is kind of representative of things at the moment, I feel like Mom's locked away inside her own head & body...but there are glimmers of hope & colour...

Today I'm grateful for;
1) bgeyna's suggestion of Frankincense oil...& Mishkid lending us hers...it's been good to feel we can do something other than sit, pray & watch her... plus is smells good!
2) Progress being made...each tiny step is a step in the right direction.
3) Wonderful people - my auntie has cooked us food & sat with whichever one isn't in ITU....Bulliblips is on her way to see us...people have text...prayed...been good to us.
