Pelican Series II

Pelecanus erythrorhynchos is an American Pelican that
is spreading its breeding range to the Great Lakes Region.
They are massive water birds that swallow their fish
whole and are very comical to watch.  I love these
pelicans and will try for a week of pelican photos.

Here, you can see its large wing span when it comes
in for a landing.
