The White Pelican Series

The white pelicans have been on the Fox River for
about a week now.  They are increasing in number
each year as the river is being cleaned up.  At
one time, large paper companies dumped their
pollutants with great abandon in this river.  There
has been court cases and now the companies
are in charge of clean-up.  The public is
advised to eat fish caught in this river only once
a month.  There were many fishermen out in
boats this morning.  I do not know how the wildlife
is affected, but the pelicans are swallowing fish
with great abandon.
