Hot seeds

Harvest day today in the burning heat. After a late start for all, the sun was a little too much for us, so we mostly hid inside snoozing in front of the cycling. It was up towards 40 degrees, so even without a hangover it was a bit much really.

So, despite the heat and with many breaks indoors to cool down, I pulled up the flopped over garlic and picked all the seeds - including these coriander seeds, most of which I think will end up eaten rather than replanted.

Later, there was more food and, despite promises of an early night, it turned out there was a lot of world to be set to rights.
