Abstract lava

The first photo I tried to upload was apparently "too small" and I didn't know how to enlarge it, so I've used this instead.

It's a close-up of the patterns on Troon beach, given some tuning and posterising treatment on Picasa. The result makes me think of red-hot flowing lava.

At circle-dancing this afternoon I met a woman who used to come to the library every Saturday while her daughter was at the Stewart School of Dancing in the village hall. Said daughter is now 32, so we reckoned we hadn't seen each other for about 20 years. I was really chuffed that I remembered both their names, specially when I can't remember what I had for supper last night.
