Bike Sculptures

Started dull and cloudy and later we had very heavy showers with some sun in between. As we were packing up I saw a kingfisher fly up the river, delighted as it is a few years since I have seen one.

Before we left Dave hosed down the bikes with an outdoor hose, they must be used to the mud problem there and cater for it. I spoke to a woman from Australia who had ridden in on her bike accompanied by her husband and 12yo daughter who were riding a tandem. They have taken a year out and were 5 months into their trip. They had cycled across South America, then Spain and were now in France.

Saw these bicycle sculptures in a garden on the road into Le Faouet where we stopped for lunch. Cycled on in the afternoon to a campsite at Pont-Scorff. Walked into the town and sampled the crepes. They do them both savoury and as a dessert.
