Play, Pie & Pint No3

More dreich weather. Will it ever end? But ideal for a midday theatre visit. The last play of this season's Play, Pie and a Pint, and it was the best one. Only two actors on stage, great story and very funny at times.

Bailey's mum came too, never having been before, and she very much enjoyed it, even the pie. Not sure she would have enjoyed last year's pie selection quite as much - haggis or macaroni.

Julie came to take Archie out for the day. I really shouldn't tell him too soon, as he just stares out at the gate and won't take his eyes of it until she appears - then the excitement level hits the roof!

When he came back with Julie in the afternoon - having been for a walk in the mud bath that is the Meadows. He charged around the whole house like a dog possessed, scattering mats up the walls, leaping over all the furniture. He had just calmed down, when JR appeared at the gate! More crying and craziness and skidding on the wet path. (Archie, not JR). What a daft dog.

Pleased that Scott and Bailey are back on TV tonight.

Didn't manage the gym today, obv. Maybe tomorrow...
