Somewhere, Over the Rainbow ........

Backblip. 

Somewhere else where there was a by-election, perhaps the result was the right one on the night.  Not here in Almond & Earn Ward though, I'm afraid. 

Despite all the leafleting, door-knocking, and general  hard work done by the members of my branch, our candidate lost the council seat by 300 votes. 

The only thing which cheered me up at the end of a long stint outside the Polling Station, in the dark and cold, was to find out how much worse Labour, Liberals and Ukip did!

This blip was taken from my back garden, just as I set off for my 8pm to 10pm session standing on the pavement outside the Bowling Club, where about 20 people turned up over 2 hours!
