Flooded fields

Back to murky conditions and heavy rain this morning. Eventually got out on the bike and stopped off to take this photo. It seemed to sum up the prevailing weather. The recent sunshine has brought on the oil seed rape but the fields are still suffering from a very wet winter. As soon as they begin to dry out along comes more rain to top up the water.

On the plus side it was incredibly still and the birds were in full voice in the hedgerows.
