Gold

I've just changed my picture - this one much brighter and have added the other original sad owl pic to extras

It's been a sunny Sunday.  We walked into Caterham and up to The Chalet, the grounds of which are open to the public today.  It is owned by David Gold, Chairman of the Gold Group and West Ham United Football Club.

All sorts going on there including this little chap and his owl pals.      There was a close up magician who completely bamboozled us both with some card tricks and magic elastic bands.  No idea how the heck he did it all.  

A couple of extras including Pete posing next to Mr Gold's chopper.. And yes that is a deliberate  "ooh matron"  double entendre  for Pete, who spent most of the morning making chopper puns.    
Funnily enough the Golds own Ann Summers and Pete used to work there.  He likes to tell people that he was "chief tester but had to give it up as it became a pain in the arse"......   
For those who don't know, Ann Summers specialise in adult toys and lingerie etc.    
Sorry for lowering the tone folks and on a Sunday too.  Pete forced me to write all that.
