Saturday: Dark Alleys

We have had a nice sociable day today.  This morning, we met Tomislav and Zlatko for coffee and spent a couple of hours chatting and laughing about a whole range of stuff.  We met in 'Orient Express' which is one of our favourites - they had never actually been but did tell us that it is rumoured to be a mafia hangout.  I am slightly disappointed that I have never seen a Tony Soprano lookalike there.

After running some errands, we had a restful afternoon at home, before meeting Morana for dinner.  We met in 'Krol', another favourite bar of ours, before heading to 'Tip-Top' for dinner - an age-old institution here.  We had a great time but after three hours of rousing Dalmatian music blaring through the speakers, felt it was time to call it a night.
