Tinged With Pink
A leisurely start to the day - always a good thing on a Saturday! Then trips to the market and supermarket and general doing of 'stuff' in readiness for my family coming to lunch tomorrow (I have to be ready today, as church in the morning and I want to serve a Sunday roast! :)) All interspersed with little camera excursions - no fewer than four today!
I've taken lots of fisheye shots of trees, water, bridges, sky.....even a wicker basket and the inside of a lift (or was that yesterday?), as I get to know my new lens better. It's been great fun!
The last excursion was to enjoy the sunset! I chose a different spot from usual - along Holes Bay (not far from the Twin Sails Bridge). The tide was out, so there were lots of curvy channels to be seen. I took photos into the sun but it's this one with its soft tones and hints of pink that I like best. And it's not fisheye - there will be plenty of those in the coming days and weeks, I feel sure!
This one looks better on the black background
So it was a good day! I hope you've had a good one, too!
Thank you so much for your lovely comments, stars and hearts for yesterday's fisheye blip - I'm so pleased you liked it!
