Texture
"The past becomes a texture, an ambience to our present"
English novelist Paul Scott (1920 - 1978)
I've been at Mum's quite a lot over the past two or three weeks (I'm here in Tiptree again until at least Wednesday). She had a nasty virus a while back, and doesn't seem to be regaining her strength despite continuing to eat well. Her legs are extremely weak, and she finds it impossible to walk very far at the moment. I am quite worried about her, but we will take it gently day by day and see if she improves.
Having made a big effort recently to catch up with backblips for March, I've got behind with my journal once again for the first week of April. I have some photos to upload for each day I've missed, but I have to say that my creative spark with photography is at an all-time low - in the current circumstances I'm just not able to get out and about enough to feel inspired. I must apologise for not writing many comments - I do still follow the journals of my blipfriends, and I hope it will be all right for the time being just to leave stars and hearts.
