..... not even in Fortnum and Mason

I had a fabulous day in London, meeting up with a friend for coffee. Before he arrived, I wandered round F and M, tasting their gin samples, and this lovely guy in the chocolate department gave me a  milk chocolate rose chocolate..... mmmmmm ...... good sales technique.  Of course, I asked to buy two.  But the till went wrong. The other assistant helped out and the correct £1.52 was sorted.

The smoked scallops and Bloomers gin was an amazing sample, too, and with our coffees, they gave us a teeny weeny ice cream cone of their coffee ice cream.

Add to that a splendid couple of hours in the Royal Academy with Monet and gardens.....  a wonderful Italian meal in Soho ..... and a trouble free trip home on Virgin.

A very good day all round.

Extra:  even the Paddington bears in the marmalade section agree
