Still waters

The lake at Knockdow House again - sadly, ten seconds after a heron had taken off and flapped laboriously over it. When I'd passed forty minutes earlier, I'd remarked that it didn't look particularly photogenic today - the sky overhead didn't seem blue enough nor the water still enough for the reflections to be interesting. But coming back, having stopped for the heron, I liked what I saw - including the very pale grasses in the water on the right of the photo, surely the last time I'll see them before they're replaced by this year's growth.
