The colors of the Thai summer

If Songkran is a religious ceremony, it has also become a huge secular festival. Nowadays, the 'water festival' attracts people from outside the country as well. For the Thais, it is a way to celebrate the end of the summer by dressing with vivid colors such as these shirts sold in the street. 
And by Tuesday, the huge and often raucous water festival will start for a few days all over the country.
