Chaos!

Major works was an understatement! I was on my way to pick Katie up from Edinburgh airport, when I saw this sign as I was waiting at the Raith interchange to go round the roundabout to head for the M8. Only you couldn't. The one lane open took me towards East Kilbride - the totally opposite direction! I managed to get myself back to said roundabout, no thanks to the non existent diversion signs, only to find myself on a slip road to the M74. Stupid me! !But all was not lost. I could get on the M8 further along from the M73 link. But I couldn't!! More major roadworks had shut the slip roads onto the M8.
To cut a long journey story short , I did eventually get to poor Katie. But what a nightmare of a drive!
