The palace was lit so beautifully tonight by the evening sun I felt it deserved a shot -although I really needed a tripod I think!

Another extraordinarily busy day but that's it now for this week. Tomorrow we head down to Brecon with the book group for the Hey! festival. We have developed a tradition of going down for the real Hay festival but this year couldn't get the cottage during the week so decided to book it now and lay on our own events. Each member is going to lead a session of some sort. I am doing a Desert Island Disc night where everyone gets the chance to choose their own 8 discs and play the one they would save. Needless to say the choice is agonising and in my case a bit random- is it to be Beethoven or Ziggy Stardust?!!
