A detour

Today we were travelling north, and stopped first to look at the strange Moeraki Boulders, very much on the bus tourist trail. Then we took a detour inland to visit two lots of Maori rock art. The first was at Maerewhenua, and the next, not too far away, near Duntroon, was at Takiroa, which I've chosen for my blip. On the way, we found ourselves near Elephant Rocks, used as Aslan's Camp in the 2005 Narnia film.

We then visited Oamaru to look around the old part of town. We didn't join the bus parties waiting to see the Little Blue Penguins. Instead we drove on to our freedom camp at, appropriately, Campbell's Bay, Taranui, where we camped on the cliff, overlooking the bay, and were treated to a lovely sunset.

The extra blip is the Moeraki Boulders. I'm not sure that the other extra, of Elephant Rocks loaded.
