A big gun

Last day in York (see previous backblips)...

Round the city walls again and then a stiff climb up the 57steps to Clifford's Tower before shooting some shitting Canadian geese with this gun in front of the Castle Museum.

Then a quick sprint to the National Railway Museum, before getting on a 'working' train back home. I say 'working' in the loosest sense. Signalling failure at Grantham caused all the East Coast trains to be delayed by 90mins+, and the alternative Cross-Country routes were affected by 'an incident on the line' near Cheltenham or somewhere. Because I couldn't be bothered waiting for my pre-booked seat on the 15:53 (which was 90mins late), I jumped on the delayed 14:32 at 16:24 and sat in the luggage rack. After Durham I blagged a seat but then all the toilets for the train bar the one in Coach A (first class) broke. I've had worse train journeys, but having been to the NRM earlier in the day to 'celebrate the train', it all seemed a little ironic.
