I took my car in for it's first service this morning. 

The "mechanics" are no longer trained to stroke their chin, slowly shake their heads and tut-tut as they deliver the verdict. Instead the "Vehicle Technicians"  just email you a diagnostic report/ video clip.

I can't complain. The Service Manager said I could have a courtesy car or alternatively wait whilst he gave my car priority in the workshop. I decided to wait. The car was serviced, the mechanic had made the video and I was  ready to drive away to work by 9:15 am.
