The Arrival of Spring in Woldgate

Visited relatives in Baildon this afternoon. Tea and hot cross buns out in the sunshine. We even saw a couple of butterflies flying in from over the moor. It felt like spring had arrived.

Stopped at Salts Mill, en route to Baildon. There are some lovely things in the shops there as well as the fabulous galleries. David Hockney's The Arrival of Spring in Woldgate 2011 is currently showing in one of the mill galleries. It comprises of 32 pictures originally created on an iPad. Each of them show a specific day between the 1st and 31st May 2011 in Woldgate, near Bridlington, East Yorkshire.

I've messed about quite a bit with today's blip of people watching video screens in the entrance area to the gallery. Here is the  original photo
