Tom Turkey on the doorstep
The second day of spring snow has brought out the hungry turkeys. I shot these gents through the glass storm door this morning. The older ones are beginning to begin their mating rituals, fanning their tails and sporting bright head colors. I offered them some cracked corn and peanuts which they devoured, showing off and gobbling.
Kalle went into Boston today to his visit his usual favorite spots. He'll meet Greg for lunch too. This is Greg's last week at his job, his new one starts on Monday. It's really cold today, but that is no problem for a Swede. Sadly, he leaves for Göteborg early tomorrow evening. He might be chosen for a really exciting Viking project this summer, so we may see him again soon.
For the Record,
This day came in with snowflakes and about 5 inches of snow. It will melt quickly, but today and tonight promise bitter cold.
Extras, Wild Turkeys showing off.
All hands happy.
