Baby blossom.

This tiny blossom is coming on the miniature cherry that we have in the back garden.
It was bought many years ago by my mother in law in commemoration of my husband's younger brother. It flowers very briefly and is still more like a bush than a tree, at less than 5ft tall. We did originally have it in a pot but it wasn't doing too well so it is good to see these tiny blossoms appearing each year.

Although we have some sun now after a damp start we are told to expect colder weather tomorrow with even possible wintry showers! These buds may want to stay closed for a while longer!
