Bye-bye Forest

This is a picture of our house in Sile and its backyard. We had bought this house when I was six years old or so, and we had a lovely forest in our backyard. A forest of poplars. Then one day, when we came, we found the whole forest to be cut down to build furnitures by the landlord. We didn't have our forest, now it was just grass. We were really upset, but something even worse happened. The government started a pipeline project called "Melen Cayi Project" and destroyed all the remainder of our backyard vista and inserted HUGE pipes underground. Now there is nothing left but rocks in our backyard, and here is its picture.

We couldn't have said anything to the forest being cut down, as it belonged to someone, but the pipes; it was too much. They had chosen our backyard to build a big pipeline, and now our beautiful house had turned into a regular house. After some research, unsurprisingly, I found out that the government was cutting a lot of forests do do this project, and I was so angry. Beautiful forests are being cut down, people's lives are being affected and everyone is continuing their lives like it is a normal thing. I believe that everyone would lose their minds if this unfortunate event happened to them, but it seems like we live in a very selfish world now...
