12...

Quiet morning...had a power outage in my area, not quite sure what happened, it lasted about an hour or so...I went out to the park for a walk. I was sitting there thinking how difficult it is for me to get capture bird shots...I see so many great ones on Blip. Out of the blue, I came upon a bird house...and this little guy...he kept flying between the feeder and branch above him...here are a few more...

Noah and I talked last night. It went well. I am scared and Noah knows trust needs to be reestablished...that will have to come with time. I realize that people are not perfect, relationships are not either. We will never see things the same way because we are genetically, physiologically, and psychologically different...no two people are alike. Men and women are on different wavelengths when it comes to communication as well. But I do know that we truly love each other and our kind of love doesn't just come along every day. We both will transform during the years...our love will as well...it will grow, change, have good days, bad days...it's a connection that's truly alive.

It's been said that forgiveness is not a feeling, it's a commitment and I'm going to commit myself to giving our relationship a second chance and to honestly communicate - from the heart. This break has been good for the both of us - it has given us a chance to reflect upon ourselves. We both understand it will take time...so we are not jumping back into our relationship, because honestly, I don't exactly want things back the way they were...that's what got us into this mess to begin with. Un giorno alla volta...one day at a time...
