Inspired by Hampshire Fare

First Sunday of the month and it’s that regular diary date visiting the Farmers’ Market.
Yet oddly enough, it’s the first one I’ve been to in my home town this year, having missed those in February and March, and they didn’t hold one on the weekend of the New Year.
I always try to lend my support to the monthly market place which showcases the best in Hampshire home grown fare. Although I missed the February date, I did catch up with a similar market in another town that day, although not quite with the  same standard of fare as I have become used to closer home. The March date I missed because of a family celebration luncheon out of town.
Today though, I was able to renew my acquaintance with the fish market and of course, make sure of some farm-fresh free range eggs for the next week.
Equally though, I love seeing what new produce the members of Hampshire Fare have to offer.

My tastes in cuisine might be simple, but I always come away full of inspiration of new things to try.
