Troon beach

I love beaches for their blipotential, even on overcast days like yesterday and today. So many textures and patterns! That is why you're getting six for the price of one - I couldn't choose.

I had a lovely weekend in Troon with Gill and David, the latter doing well since his lung cancer surgery last autumn. Gill and I were joined today by our other Class of '70 pal, Fiona, for a Girls' Lunch, courtesy of M&S.

As always, there was much laughter and enjoyment from being with friends of 50 years' standing.
