Hever

Mr P has bought a watch that measure his heart rate , to keep any eye on it following his trip to A&E two weeks ago.   This is him checking his actual pulse against the watch on a short circular walk around Hever to collect some geocaches.  In Hever church is the tomb of Thomas Bullen 1538 (see extra); Anne Boleyn's father.  She changed her name from Bullen because she thought Boleyn more fashionable.   She was beheaded in 1536; 2 years before her father died. Thomas was stripped of his titles when  Anne fell from favour and sent back to Hever where luckily they gave him a grand tomb because his little granddaughter; Elizabeth born in 1533 became Queen Elizabeth 1 and his tomb is well visited now with the Boleyn and royal connections. It has a splendid brass on the lid.
