Up up and away.
I had a bad day photographically speaking today. We decided to go to the Malverns for a bit of a walk in the fresh air and forecast sunshine. First of all I couldn't find my polarising filter, but that turned out to be the least of my problems. When I got there and got my camera out I discovered it still had the macro lens attached from two days ago. But never mind I had brought my telephoto lens. Well that's fine for spying down into the living rooms of genteel Malvern but a bit rubbish for taking landscape views from a great height. I decided to make the best of it but then, because I couldn't be bothered to put my spectacles on, missed the fact that white balance was set to tungsten. It looked like the sun symbol through my myopic blur. So all the pictures I did manage to get were horribly blue. No I didn't check on the viewfinder! Grrr.
Anyway the best I got was this kite being flown by a little girl. It was flying rather well I thought.
The extra is a leaf of a plant I didn't recognise which was growing all over the place.
